  • "Ro is beyond talented. She helped my daughter, who was struggling emotionally, to have a creative outlet that she LOVES. It builds her confidence and she enjoys every single lesson. When my daughter sings songs that she wrote with Ro while playing piano I cry every single time. It actually creates a deeper love of music because it’s personal to her. It’s not like other lessons where she is memorizing music she can’t relate to, I cannot recommend Ro enough.”

  • "Great with kids. My 4 year old daughter expressed an interest in playing the piano but neither my wife or I know how to play. I'm very pleased we found Ro. She's patient, positive and enthusiastic. Our daughter looks forward to each lesson, which is more than I could have hoped for. And, she's learning a lot. What impresses me most is that Ro is also helping her learn to sing in key while she plays. My daughter is only 4 and already knows how to do things that I can't. That's pretty exciting.”

    —Dylan S.

  • "Ro has taught my 14 year old daughter guitar, piano, voice and songwriting and she is equally gifted in each. Beyond her technical skill, Ro is patient, expressive, warm and encouraging—although by no means a pushover. Ro clearly lays out weekly expectations that are both demanding and doable; as a natural champion and cheerleader, I see my daughter working hard to live up to Ro’s expectations and not wanting to let her down. Ro clearly values progress over perfection and I believe this is what makes her such an incredible instructor and role model."

What makes our school different

Adult students belong here

A music education designed for grown-ups, too.

Adults do not arrive at music as blank slates. They bring a lifetime of listening, favorite artists, stories, instincts, ambitions, and sometimes old messages about whether they are “musical enough.” Each course of study begins with the adult in front of us: what they want to play, sing, write, record, or understand—and what would make music feel meaningful now.

True beginners

Start from the beginning without embarrassment, pressure, or assumptions about what you should already know.

Returning musicians

Reconnect with an instrument or your voice after years away and build a new relationship with music at your present pace.

Creative adults

Combine voice, piano, guitar, songwriting, recording, production, and performance in a path shaped around your ideas.

Serious learning can still be joyful. Technique and musicianship are taught through music you care about, with room to experiment, laugh, ask questions, change direction, and make imperfect music while you grow.

A note from your instructor

Ro Myra

Hi, I’m Ro. Music has been one of the great loves of my life. It has given me a way to express myself, connect with others, and find meaning in every season of life.

I want my students to experience that same sense of possibility.

Music education should nurture the whole person. It should be joyful, personal, and connected to the music each student genuinely wants to learn.

I have more than a decade of teaching experience. I am also an active songwriter, recording artist, and producer. My background in education, counseling, psychology, and human development shapes the way I teach.

I create a warm and welcoming environment where students can experiment, ask questions, and make mistakes. Each student also receives the structure and thoughtful guidance they need to grow.

Together, we build musicianship, confidence, creative independence, and trust in their own artistic voice.

The goal is about more than learning to play a song correctly. I want every student to develop a lifelong relationship with music. Music can become a lasting source of joy, connection, courage, and belonging.

I would be honored to learn what music could become in your life or your student’s life.

Ro Myra’s song “Irene”

Irene is a single from Ro Myra’s debut album ‘Nowhere, Nebraska.’ You can listen to the album on Spotify or Apple Music.
